When ARISTOCRATS brought me on as their creative director I knew I didn’t want to just a build a shop that the Bay Area could be proud of. I wanted to build a shop that carried on the street culture that I remember and love. Like Tet from WTAPS said “It was never about the clothing,” it is just expressing yourself and sometimes it happens to come out through clothing. We love and support all the brands were bringing in and we hope other people will enjoy it too. Two things that inspire me the most are youth and rebellion and that will show more as time goes on…

Jun gave us the chance to bring in Lafayette and I’m really excited because I believe they are trying to do the same thing that we are doing. With 3 shops in Japan and what I perceive to be on of the best in-house brands ever, we are honored to carry them. Their 7 year anniversary is just around the corner in June and I’d like to thank the whole Lafayette Crew and Jun for inviting us… Our 1 year is just around the corner as well.

“Lafayette is established on 2003, we are influenced from New York things. The name is from famous NY street but the name has historic background. Lafayette was earl of french. He contribute american independent war so, our mission is making happen on street culture.”

Words by Jun / Lafayette President (http://www.lafayettecrew.com)

For all our old and new supporters… When we started the INVS line our goal was to produce garments that we felt every man should have in their closet. As cliche as it sounds we wanted to update classics with a more modern fit and add our own details. We knew the name would change as we wanted to have a name that better fit our mission.

We never liked the idea of “disposable fashion,” Uniqlo, H&M, and Zara. We feel that todays consumer deserves quality and lasting style at a fair price. I don’t want to say affordable because that is relevant to how much you make. By a fair price we mean that depending on the cost of whatever we are producing we don’t mark it up to an unnecessary price.

So the line is OFFICIALLY called Mister, abbreviated as Mr.

The whole concept is that we are making such plain and classic garments that we are going back to a time when YOU the MAN really wore the clothes. We don’t want a cool guy image or the image of some guy who dresses “proper” all the time. We just want you to be you, whatever sort of man you may be.

Deadline is a brand started by LA based JUNBUG and Brooklyn based NA, the two linked up in 2007 to form Deadline. NA is the face of the company and JUNBUG deals with the buisness end of the company. Deadline is based on the backgrounds of both JUNBUG & NA, they have taking their life experience and turned them into a brand to bring a mixture of LA and NY steez. In the past Deadline has done collaborations with such brands as Diamond Supply Co., J. Money and Lafayette (hint).

NA’s Background: NA has been in the game since he was a 10 year old kid. He often hung out at the World Famous Supreme skateshop, where he grew up with a lot of OG skate heads/photographers/artists/hustlers etc. who are today some of the biggest influencers in New York City. Throughout the years, NA has worked along side numerous well known street brands and skateboarding companies, his focus is now Deadline, and it will show by the product of their upcoming season.

JUNBUG’s Background: JUNBUG has been a hustler all his life, hustling growing up to be a professional poker player. Similar to NA he has taken his lifetime experiences and turned it into a positive movement by presenting Deadline. A clothing brand for all demographics and nationalities.
