Sometimes you might need to block the haters, and Mosley Tribes is the perfect way to do that ha. For summer we acquired the Quintana’s and the Sandoval’s and we think they are perfect. The Mosley Summer/Fall 2010 line is said to be inspired by the Native American landscape, personally, I don’t see it. Either way they’re our favorite!

As some of you may know our 1 year anniversary came this past May. We still haven’t had our party yet ha but we do have a release coming this friday!
Initially, we approached Beans & Croydon about wanting something special for our 1 year. They came up with the idea that whatever is done for ARISTOCRATS should definitely be something that can stand on its own, we can’t really explain it so we will let Beans do it…
“We wanted something for ARISTOCRATS that would fall into line with our whole philosophy of the store. For instance, even though they carry some cool brands in our opinion we don’t feel as if kids should let the brands they wear represent who they are. That is what ARISTOCRATS means to us. So, working with our other client Mister just felt like the natural thing to do. We wanted something very current and classic which is almost an oxymoron but we feel these two short-sleeve oxfords and seersucker shorts do the trick. No gimmicks, no taglines, just ARISTOCRATS.”
Releases this FRIDAY – 6/11 … Phone Orders Welcome 408.885.0727
Short-sleeve Oxford (Red or Blue, Sizes: S-2XL) – $55
Seersucker Shorts (Blue, Sizes: 28-34) – $44
To commemorate the release of 5th Column IV [Reign of Terror] we decided to do IV questions with Jason Calabretta as opposed to our usual “5 Questions With.” We do this to educate our customers more and give them something interesting to read rather than just saying “come buy this!” Check it out..
1. Why is fascism’s most advanced form here in Amerika?
America uses the Fasces in an almost subliminal way. It’s symbolized on court houses, state capitol buildings, the Lincoln memorial, United States House of Representatives, it was even on the back of a dime. I’m sure that’s not a coincidence.
I think America is still trying to figure out what she wants to be.
2. Fascism is one of my personal favorites from IV as well as a Bay Area centric shirt… III had Zodiac, any more Bay Area shirts coming?
It’s impossible to not be influenced; there is just so much history in the Bay.
3. Do you think that with every release you start to have more and more to say through each piece? Because each piece has it’s own story but it all fits into a bigger collective that helps makeup 5th Column.
There is never a shortage of things to say; with each piece another one begins..
4. What’s next?
V. [Downfall] and eventually death..
If you follow our blog regularly or our twitter you have probably gathered that 5th Column is one of our favorite brands, and Jason Calabretta one of our favorite people. We can’t really call this their summer season as the Five Columns doesn’t follow your typical release schedule, its just their latest drop entitled IV [Reign of Terror] that happened to come out near summer… No one can explain the shirts better than Mr. Calabretta himself so here it is after the jump…
We have M-2XL in every design AND colorway.
