ARISTOCRATS Visits Independence High School

Last week we visited Independence High School to talk to their art department in conjunction with a project we are doing with them. The students of Independence High or Indy High as its affectionately known as will be creating works in a multitude of mediums inspired by what inspires them. We will also be holding an Opening Reception for them. Our goal at ARISTOCRATS has always been to support the community and even though a lot of stores do this, we take that extra step.

This was our 1st visit we hope to see their progress in our next visit.

To help celebrate our 2 year Anniversary we teamed up with Javier Laval and TK Nguyen to host #itsClassified at EDEN in Hollywood this Thursday June 2, 2011. We hope everyone comes out! Thank you to all of our old and new supporters!

Sole On Ice – Opening Night

Last week we attended the grand opening of Sole On Ice which is the newest addition to Japantown San Jose. We’d like to welcome them to the family and please visit them next time you visit us!

We are produ to say that the Bay Area’s premier sneaker consignment shop will be down the street from ARISTOCRATS. Yellow Is the New Black – Opening Reception for Girafa

On January 21, 2011 we will be holding the opening reception for famed Bay Area street artist Girafa’s new exhibit entitled Yellow Is the New Black. Known for his Giraffe character amongst other things he has now decided to show his personal works to the public. Please join us and the artist himself for what is to be a legendary night for street art in the Bay Area as well as for ARISTOCRATS.

On November 19th we held a party for local brand Halloway for the release of their Fall Collection and 2 year anniversary. It was a great turn out and i’m glad to see Halloway brought all their supporters and everyone came out to the shop and party with us.

Erk Tha Jerk Listening Party

Thank you to Erk Tha Jerk and the IMPRM family for inviting us out to New Parish in Oakland. It was a packed house and seeing Erk perform some of his songs off Nerds Eye View with a live band was a memorable experience.
